Drilled a 2nd Dimension....
« on: December 21, 2009, 08:50:43 PM »
I traded my Hot Sauce Pearl for a 2nd D.

Layout:
60* drill angle
3" pin to pap
30* val angle
P2 hole-1" by 2 1/2
600grit plus polish

Lane condition:
Post league(4 person, 3 games)
Some carrydown

ME:  See profile

I had my VG with me, so we can get alittle comparison.  The 2nd got up the lane well and reacted quickly to the dry parts of the pattern.  Carry was exceptional, especially for this house.  I played around for a game, throwing my VG on the right lane and 2nd on the left.  I was 5 and 3 right with my feet compared to my VG(1000 grit).

I forgot how good a particle pearl could be.  Likes the oil, likes the dry and doesn't over react on the back.  I'll try to get some vids this week to post.  I'll have my Reign drilled up on Wednesday.

The 2nd is quickly becoming my favorite ball.  The reaction is continuous, but doesn't overreact to either the dry or the oil.

I used it on my way to placing quite well in a tournament this past Sunday.  It gave me a spectacular reaction.

I'm amazed how strong the ball is even polished.

i love my 2nd D! most the time the thing hooks harder then my Dimension.. the ball is awsome. it recovers well if u miss your spot and hits the pocket hard. bowled a 288 with it a few weeks ago!
