Thunder and Fire line

Looks like they have discontinued the fire line and the t-road and t-road pearl. I knew that it was coming but just didn't know when. I didn't expect them to discontinue them this soon though.

This has been discussed a lot on the board.

The Hot line (Fast and Furious) share the same cores as the Fire line balls did.  The Thunder line still includes the HyRoad and the Reign (release date coming in August).  My understanding is the Reign will be like the T-Road Pearl but with more backend reaction.

I hope to see more in the Thunder line, as my TRP is by far my favorite ball.

The Twin V cores are no longer being used.  The core in the Fast and the Furious is the same as that found in the Street Rods.

Fire line is completely gone for now...

The differential in the Reign core is lower, so I would actually expect it to have a little less backend.  Of course, this is without knowing the core shape.

If I can believe the webpage that lists the Reign as having the CAM core, and looking at the Roto Grip Empire - International Ball with CAM [Controlled Axis Migration] core, expect long and strong.

I believe the CAM core being used in the Reign is different than the one in the Empire... The Empire is an asymmetric core, where as the Reign is supposed to be symmetric.

And it is true, while the Roto Grip CAM core shows a trademark symbol, the Reign Cam core is not, at least in this early posting.

Still the fact they are poured in the same shop has me wondering how two across the hallway brands could have the same spelling for a core without some relationship - LOL
