I have a Special Agent that has about 250 games on it.   When the ball was new, it was the most versatile ball in my bag,   however after about 200 games it started to lose some hooking ability and now it is not half of the ball that it was new.   I have a ball spinner at home but what is the best way to bring some life back to this ball.   I have never had a ball change this dramitcally before.   Is there any chance or is 200 games just the life span of this type of ball??

I'm a huge fan of hitting the ball with an Abralon pad again every 4 to 6 weeks. After about 3-4 months I'll sand my ball down to as low as possible, do a hot water bath, and then sand it back up to whatever it may be. I find that to really bring it back to square one. My Passion is nearing a year old with probably around 200 games and it's still both moving and hitting like new.

I hit my Specials with a pad virtually every time I use them - usually 1,000 for heavy oil and 2,000 for medium oil. And I clean them after every use. Have one that probably is nearing 300 games and cleaning and Abralon brings it right back.
If I keep throwing a Special on any decent amount of oil WITHOUT maintenance lane shine will turn it into a shiny ball after time.
