Wrist Brace's: Gadget vs. Gizmo
« on: May 14, 2011, 01:09:41 PM »
I have always loved the Storm Strong Arm. But now Storm has the Gadget and the Gizmo.

I believe the Gadget came out before the Gizmo... but not sure?

On Storm's site, they have Gadget listed at $78.95 and the Gizmo listed at $56.95.

Why is the Gadget so much higher if it's the older version? It looks like the newer version Gizmo would be the higher priced one instead.

Also, there are extra Velcro Pads you can buy for the Gadget, that I dont think you can buy for the newer version Gizmo. Why isn't there extra Velco Pads available for the Gizmo too?

So what's the defifference between the 2 of them? Is the Gizmo a newer version of the Gadget or are they just 2 different kinds of Wrist Brace's or...?

Thanks!

The Gizmo is like the Streamline where the Gadget would be the Rolling Thunder. It's a lesser quality than the Gadget. The Gizmo has a rubber pad that isn't replaceable where the Gadget has the Cool Max padded lining that can be replaced. Performance-wise they are similar, but the Gadget has much better construction.
