Thunderstruck - It's Solid.
« on: November 09, 2006, 02:40:48 AM »
First impressions of the T-Struck Purp

I finally picked up a Thunderstruck Solid.  So far...  So good.  Smooth and deadly.  This guy has the hooking potential of a beast though.  It seems to have a big predictable continuous hook which is exactly what I wanted for my main league ball.  No violent angular action here.  The name of the game here is smooth.  This ball is pretty cheap too.  Insane.

I am looking forward to testing this thing again tonight but so far it looks like it is going to be fun and versatile.  I was able to play deeper lines with it (which I normally don't do) but I was still able to play up the side by swinging it out slightly.

Your aura!  It's purple!

It's a very interesting ball.  I am going to experiment a lot more with it tonight.  It's so smooth but it keeps going.  It has the type of "hard arc" reaction I am looking for so I just want to get out there and try all kinds of stuff with it.

I'll agree there.  This ball is some kind of even-hooking superbeast.  I think this ball has huge potential.

Comparing it to my Triple XTreme, it seems to hook just as much if not more but the reaction is really smooth (making it easier to aim).  My Triple Xtreme seemed to go really long and then hockey stick which I am not a fan of.

I can't wait to try this thing on a fresh shot because I think this is going to be the guy.  I am not sure what the point of high performance balls are since this thing has all the potential and is so incredibly cheap.

Since this thing hooks way more than I expected, I think I am going to try a Jolt Pearl next on the depth chart.
