Eraser Banshee replacement
« on: February 06, 2012, 11:12:22 PM »
Greetings,

I'm trying to Find a compliment to one of these bad boys:  http://www.ballreviews.com/bowlingballreviews/storm/eraser_banshee/579/0/1/ballreviews.aspx

On most nights this is plenty of ball for me, however there are times when the lanes tighten up a smidge and a couple ten pins creep in. So, most importantly I want the same type length/motion downlane to handle a little more carrydown.  I've been researching the Frantic and Tropical Hybrid.  Please reply with your thoughts if you've had experience with the Banshee and either one these.  .

Thanks.

The Frantic is going to be the closest of the balls you just mentioned IMO.  I was a fan of Monsoon cover and was sorry to see it go.  Monsoon Pearl is smoother than Reactor Pearl but will get a bit more roll vs. skid at the end of the oil with more control in the dry.   R2S Hybrid will be closer to Monsoon Pearl but with a stronger move off of the dry.  I'd go with a Frantic but with lay it out a bit earlier than your Banshee.
