First night of my league started Wed. and I use my main ball the Eraser Pearl Particle. This ball hooks so much better than my Inferno. Now I am a lefty and the problem I had was that on 4 perfect flushed shots it left three solid 9 pins and one solid 8 pin.
I stand pretty far right throwing the ball out to about the first arrow and it comes in nicely but out of the 8 or 9 "perfect" shots only 2 were perfect strikes. 4 like I said left a solid 8 or 9 and the other shots the 7 pin was hit by a messenger.
Any ideas on what to do? I just can't understand the solid 8 and 9's. One time is ok but 4?

It's not the ball, but the bowler.
You screwed you!
Don't ever blame the ball!

As I understand these things - the 9s you are leaving would be because of too little deflection when the ball enters the pocket. Because of this the ball hits the 5 too full and drives it off the back of the pin deck without touching the 9. The 8 is most likely because you are comming in from too big an angle. You might try moving your feet a little to come into the pocket a bit lighter or dare I say it hook the ball a little less.

I personally find that the Eraser Pearl Particle doesn't like to handle a wide angle on the lane, that it performs better with a down and in shot or more of a small swing. I think the lighter shot will carry better based on what I'm hearing from the way your lanes play.

Your shots I hate to break to you were not perfect. 8 pins you come to high (left handed) in the pocket and blow past. 9 pins you came a little to light and the ball deflected. My call is you screwed your self not the ball.
