My lass just got a storm eraser pbt...
on the storm website it says its flavoured orange, ok.
but it doesnt smell?
Should it, does it take a while for the smell to come out?

Be happy when you get a Storm ball that actually does NOT smell...

When I fill my bag with my Trauma, X-Factor Re-Loaded and Eraser PP, the bag and even my car thereafter smell like a Christmas market....

I don't remember my original eraser being scented, does she have the orig. or the eraser particle pearl. Let me do some research. Also no it doesn't take time for them to smell you would notice it right away.

Wow it does say orange on the Storm website also, I truly don't remeber mine smelling at all but its been sometime since I have had it, I got it when they first came out. I don't think my Eraser was scented properly either I know I can remember the dreaded choclate X-Factor.

Yup, the RE-Loaded smells HEAVILY! With this ball, any time is Christmas time... VERY sweet. I am afraid that my ball might attract flies in the summer time

? Well, the ball is dead (although I am quite satisfied with mine on broken down, spotty lanes), but the scent lives on - in the New Hot Rod Hybrid

I dont remember my original Eraser having any smell to it (besides oil after few shots), but the Pearl Particle had a strong lemonade scent to it. After I clean it up a bit the smell comes back. Kinda tough to bowl with it at times when I breathe in and get a good whiff right before starting my approach...

The Storm Web Site is wrong.

The original Eraser does NOT have a scent. I still have my original box where it says Scent: none.

I seriously doubt Storm is wrong on their own website and I am not calling you a liar perhaps there was more than one batch of balls and labels, I imagine the early ones perhaps didn't have a scent and maybe the later ones did.

That was certainly true with me. I owned two Erasers, purchased about a year and change apart. The first one didn't have a noticeable citrus aroma, but the second one sure did.

Hmmmm.

Maybe they did put a scent in different batches but mine absolutely does not have a scent and the box confirms that.

I would, however like to address the following statement:

There are many incorrect things on the Storm Website so I don't know why anyone would doubt that this particular item would be wrong. I am a fan of Storm equipment but they need serious help in their marketing department. On a regular basis I find significant inconsistancies with their product related material. Why would this be any different?

Do these balls scents die after the ball has been resurfaced? I picked up 2 Super Charges from my buddy, and hes had them resurfaced and they dotn smell anymore.

The strongest scented Storm I remember is the Trauma ER, it had a Black Raspberry scent that was Veeeery Strong. When I had it drilled the Pro Shop smelled like an Air Freshener for an hour.

My son now uses this ball and it is still very strong after 2 years. It is very good at keeping his locker at the lanes smelling good. It is also a great car Air freshener.

Now for the Original Eraser PBT, scent Orange/Citrus.....same thing really. My first was very weak smell to it, I just recently picked up another NIB about a month ago and it's smell is also weak.

I can tell you all one thing...It sure does NOT take a while for the scents to 'come out' so to speak. I have over 30 Storm balls in my racks and when I walk over to the storage section....it smells almost like a French Who*E House !! I love Storm balls, but trust me...it can get to you after a while !!I truly am glad I got rid of the Triple X..it's smell was very strong, now, with several Hybrids, I get very hungry when I walk in the storage section....VERY hungry !!
