Its hard to say how much oil the Hybrid will handle. Its a solid/pearl, but what covers? Curelyon?ACCU-tread?Curelyon2?Monsoon?HK4(doubtful)?Typhoon?
I am not too sure about the solid/pearl though, the Columbia M80 cover is supposed to react like a solid/pearl, but everyone I have seen throw one it skates past the break point or hooks early. Maybe I am just watching the wrong people. But, this might be a good Sport Shot ball. If its a strong cover i.e. Monsoon or ACCU-tread, the cover with the low diff will be great on a Sport Shot, in my opinion.  On tougher flatter shots I found low diff balls reacted better than high diff balls.

By the way, any Storm Staffers, Bring back the Flash Bulb weight block with the horizontal dual density or the Bolt weight block!!

Astoroman-this is what it says on Stors sight "Reactorâ„¢ Hybrid Reactive"

Its pry a Monsoon mix i would guess? bc both prostoscks were mosoons.

What ive seen for covers mixe dliek this, is one color is the peral and the other color is the solid which just dosent go right, bc it good try to grab one time on the peral and slid, the next ball it would grab on the solid(which ever one is touching lane) and woudl have 2 differnt reactions.

And yes it does look liek the new vertigo will replace the Fear Factor. MAn this cover must be strong bc its a reactive and it wil handle alot of oil.

When i set up my new arsenal(which wont be for a while) this will be my hvy oil ball.

But im still looing for a single drill ACE!!!!

Dave Williamson-  The El Nino, Wrath, Gold, and I believe the 2002 all had the vertical dual density, which is dlose to the Flash Bulb, except the vertical had the densities split down the middle up and down with a block on the bottom and wrapped in an outer core. Looks like a Columbia messenger core.  The lightning flash had horizontal dual density, where the densities stacked on top of each other. Now the Bol.t and Skybolt had the original Lightning core light bulb weight block, flipped upside down and a flip block on top.  But, the Bolt Pro had a Red Sunstorm core in it, which was 2 pucks stacked on top of each other, on top of a ball type core.

Dirtbikebowler- I agree with you there, it reminds me of the Quantum Helix balls a little bit, resin and urethane.  It did get through the heads on the urethane strip, but once the flare started to migrate, the ball hit resin, urethane resin, (hook, skid, hook, skid). But I haven't even looked at the storm site yet, i'll have to do that tonight.

I have to admit I was a Columbia 300 man until about three weeks ago.  I bought my first STORM, a Triple Extreme.  It is by far the best ball I have thrown.  By the way I go in the morning to pick up my Ace from the pro shop.

Hey guys.....

Is the new Vertigo the begging of a new line? Even though it has xfactor on it they might come out with new balls with vertigo something and end the xfactor name.

What ya think?

Your profile states that you'd like a Brunswick Impulse Zone.  What, are you a closet limp-wrister?
