Factory finish on the Fast
« on: December 21, 2009, 03:09:56 PM »
Hey, quick question. What is the factory finish process for the ball? I know its 1500 grit polish but are there steps before that, that I need to replicate. Thanks! Have a good holiday!

with a spinner there are two ways (maybe more?)

storm has said:

360 abralon
then
lightly use 500 abralon
then
apply storm step 2 compound

my method:

light grey scotchbrite pad
gritless polish

im not sure if my method is the same as storms OOB but it does seem to fit my game

1000 abralon and Reacta Shine will get you close enough for government work.

I hope that sandpaper is based on the P scale

if it isnt you should be stopping at ~800
