Need drilling advice on paradigm passion
« on: June 04, 2009, 06:45:06 PM »
Hi everyone. I recently picked up a paradigm passion from a guy on here and in the process of having it plugged. I have another passion that has a 5 x 3 1/2 pin up, no hole that is a pro cg. That one roles really early with a nice back end. I bought the second passion to use mostly on the scorpian and shark patterns once they break down and when my first passion starts hooking too soon. Here is a picture of this ball before plugging----> http://gs98.photobucket.com/groups/l252/H4QYVY842D/?action=view¤t=PrdPssn2.jpg

My pap is 5 3/8 over and 3/8 up or so. I am wanting this passion to be able to go a little longer while having a nice backend and to be able to recover when playing deeper. I am thinking of a 5 x 5 pin up, or a 5 x 4 1/2 pin up no extra hole. I need some suggestions as I will be getting this drilled most likely next week sometime, thanks Josh

You give it to me

Now seriously, I would say your ideas are good.  I find a good reaction on Storm gear with pin-up, with 4.5 x 4.5 and 5 x 5 (both pin x MB here).  I would say you could even bump it up to say 5.25 x 5.25 considering your PAP.  Either way, good luck!  One of my favorite balls right here, and I just retired it from anything other than a THS  Thing has probably 800 games on it too.  Enjoy!

Thanks n00dlejester for the suggestions If I do a 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 it would probably be too much ball, as I already have an X-factor duece that is 4 1/4 x 4 1/2 pin next to ring and a pinch up. I could do a 4 1/2 x 5, but I am going to talk to a few more poeple to see what else I can come up with

Definitely ask the Pro-Shop guy who's going to drill it up too, if he's good at what he does, he'll have some good suggestions for ya!
