Trifecta POLISHED?

Has anyone tried to polish a Trifecta? What were the results? What other ball would you compare the reaction to?

I now have 2 of these (LOVE this ball); one is drilled stronger (stacked leverage) and the other is drilled a bit weaker (pin over bridge, mb next to thumb). I haven't had a chance to throw the stronger drilling just yet, so I'm going to "A&B" them both in the out-of-box state to see how different they are, but I know that a coverstock adjustment might be in order.

Also, if you have polished it, would you suggest I polish the stronger drill or the weaker one?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

During 2005 AMF Weber cup a player from UAE made it to the semifinals with a polished Trifecta, pin under bridge. A high-end tweener in style, I'd say. Condition must have been medium to oily.

The ball reaction was much like rwt3002 describes - very good length, and then a late but rather sharp arc to the pocket - probably the asym. RG influence. Knowing friend's Trifecta with OOB finish, a dramatic change in recation and appearance. The polished one was the first Trifecta that really looked good to me!

If you can get a tape of that tournament you can see the ball in some games in real life with this particalar setup.

Did polishing up the Trifecta hurt how it handles carry down?  Mine is also drilled stacked with pin over the ring and its not finishing as strong as I would like.  Im a med speed, med rev low-med track stroker. Im wondering if polishing it up would retain some of the energy, but this is the ball I go to when there is a lot of carry down and I dont want to undermine that.

A friend of mine in my league has one polished.  He hooks the ball a ton.  He is also left handed.  His avg is about 230.  He hated the ball a first until he polished it.  I watch him throw in on Monday. The ball got through the heads really good with a hard backend snap.  So if you want skid flippy polish it.  If you want a mild reaction take the ball up to 1200 or 1500.
