Will this ball still hook on flooded lanes?

Nothing will hook in Absolute oil. so even for a flood, anything might slide, just take your chances. try the FF and play with the cover. If all else fails do what i did once with a Brunswick HPH, take out my Keys and scratched the ball lol, no sand paper on hand.
