Hy Road
« on: February 29, 2016, 11:30:44 PM »
I know I have asked this question before.  Which storm or roto grip ball compares to the hy road?  I cant find my previous post about this topic.  Thank you.

I would say the hy-road is a pretty close comparison.

None, that's why it's still in production!

I've thrown a Rocket, Wrecker, Unhinged, Frantic, as well as two Hy-Roads. While most of these balls are very good, they just aren't a hy-Road.

I have a wrecker.  Love it.  Just hooks way more than my hy road.  Was just looking for another dry lane ball.  Seems like if I dont throw the hy road perfect it doesnt roll good.

Maybe to many variations in your approach?
I'm with everyone else, the hy-road is a beast .I have the solid and the pearl. Both roll great ,with the solid working well with many coverstock changes

the solid and pearl arent hyroads... they are T-roads the hyroad is the hyroad because its a HYbrid t-ROAD.

OP-if you dont want a hyroad the rocket is supposed to be a slightly earlier and stronger version of it. although idk why you wouldnt just drill a hyroad since its still in production

The new Hy-Wire is supposed to be a good compliment to the Hyroad. Same cover, symettric core.

I had two hyroads, one I liked so much, the other got sold after that year and my last hyroad was sold when I changed weight.

I have a NIB still waiting to be drilled....thanks again Jeff lol
