Well, not quite an 800, but it is my highest series. I can't take all the credit for this one since the lanes were stupid easy last night (though they did dry out quite a bit out of nowhere in the second game and through the third game, and the backend was tighter on the left lane). I started with a Morich Awesome Revs in practice that had a good look, but by the 3rd frame of the 1st game it was burning up and left a weak 10 pin. I put it down and pulled out the Special Agent and stayed with it the rest of the night. Aside from that weak 10, I managed to miss it at the bottom of the swing once that game and left a 2-8 and covered it, 256. Second game, high-flush 7 and a high flush 9 pin back-to-back when the lanes transitioned pretty quickly, 268. Third game, strike, big 4 split, off the sheet, 266.
I've been doing pretty well the past three weeks or so. I had a 776 about 3 or so weeks ago in the same league with the Special Agent, and since then in other leagues a couple 730s and a 720, and a ton of games in the 260s and 270s and a 289. Despite somewhere around 100-150 games on this ball, the ball is still reacting like brand new. The only maintenance I've done is clean after every set with Clean & Dull and hitting it a couple times with fresh 2000 abralon surface (I bowled on double oil a couple Sundays in a row, I needed some fresh surface for that! It played almost like a PBA shot, absolutely no miss room. And I still managed to be a ringing 10 and a stone 8 away from a 300 on that slop).
