Same ball motion?

It seems the two balls fill the same spot in each product line. I wonder if it would be redundant to have both of them.

Good postâ€¦ I wanted to know this answed myself, since I have both, and feel they overlap each other. Very similar reactions, probably will sell/get ridnof my punch out.

Most would say no way. I think the punch out goes longer..IMO is designed for a deeper line. My wrecker likes the track area only...going deep isn't really an option.

I'm with Bill on this. In fairness, my Wrecker is pin down and rolls smoother, while my Punch Out is pin up and used for extreme angles on toast.

Interesting you say that billdozerâ€¦ my Wrecker for me forces me to open up my angles as the ball picks up STRONG in the midlane, and goes crazy on the back as most of us know, where as the punch out (for me anyway) does best going up the track, as it goes waaayyy too far downlane, even with the polish knocked off, and gives me over/under hellâ€¦

I can only play deeper when the lanes are really dry, just not a good match-up for meâ€¦ I will say it does continue through the pins well when thrown correctlyâ€¦.

My Wrecker , 45*5*70, goes left hard.....big backend rip. Surface is wet 4000.
Even with the control drilling, to have a ball that hockey sticks more than this one would almost unusable. I guess my release, revs and speed cause this. (400 rpm, axis is 5-3/4 3/16 down comfortable speed@16)

I can play a deep line with my wrecker but I don't score well. You can play line u want LOL. I'm talking lines where I get maximum carry and the ball faces up to the pocket correctly.

For example, I never go deep with a IQ or marvel ball...the core just runs out of juice to score...I play up the boards with them and carry all day long. Same with my disturbed.

I can play much deeper with a hyroad or my vgnano pearl..

This is just my opinion. I'm sure everyone has a different experience with the ball, I'm just stating mine.

Bill and Lefty,

Don't forget that you both have different styles and play on different lane surfaces and oil amounts. To add to the differences you probably also have different drillings. That's a whole bunches of differences when comparing ball reactions and performances. So, small wonder you see different things.
