Even though it comes polished it is still a solid and the Eraser was of course pearl, they might be close but guess you would have to throw it to tell.  I loved my eraser it was a beast.

Numbers do not mean jack. You were on the right path if you want to go with the Screaming Banshee.

quote:
The numbers on the new Fired Up look like it may be VERY similar to the original Eraser:

Original Eraser
Radius of Gyration   2.539 (Med-Low)
Differential   .050 (Med-High)

Fired Up
Radius of Gyration   2.54 (Med)
Differential   .049 (Med-High)

Screamin' Banshee
Radius of Gyration   2.526 (Med-Low)
Differential   .040 (Med)

Since the Fired up, and Original Eraser are both pearl, with almost identical numbers, I think they'd be the most similar in performance.

The only problem with these numbers is that they match about 50% of the balls on the market. The thing that defines hook is missing,Coefficient of friction is how much friction the coverstock creates which is where the hook is generated not solely the flare potential and RG values. You could have a ball that spins freely and flares 9" but never hooks!

The Screamin banshee is close to an eraser but stronger.
The Fired Up is no where near an eraser its more like a recharge or atomic charge on Steroids!
