The diagrams on the website aren't necessarily accurate. Lord knows I don't hook the ball anywhere near as much as the examples on the website show on fresh oil. According to it, I should be getting about 1.5 - 2 times as much hook as a stroker than I really do. It's just meant as a baseline for comparing the shape of the reaction on the out-of-box condition.
If you are looking for a arc, you might be able to get that to some degree with a Fired Up/Spit Fire (they're very similar balls--the only difference is the color and the weight block is flipped on the Spit Fire so you don't drill into it). However, it is meant to be more of a skid/snap ball. I have my Spit Fire drilled for length and it definately has a skid/snap look, but it does have a fair bit of mid-lane read. If you bring the pin down more, you might get a little more of an arcing shot. It would be a good ball for a medium oil shot.
For a ball that truly has a strong arc, but it may be too much ball if there's not a lot of oil on the lane, the Special Agent is incredible. Even with mine drilled with a higher pin position for some length, it still has a very smooth reaction and incredible pin action. However, it will be too much ball once the heads get dry or on lighter oil shots in general. It will roll out and not carry well if it doesn't have some oil.
As far as other options, I'll have to leave that up to other members to help you out since those are the only things I'm throwing right now other than an Ebonite Total NV I've got sanded down for an in-between reaction compared to the other two balls. I'm also bowling only in a PBA Experience league this summer, so that means I've been bowling on heavier oil shots.
