Looking at purchasing one of Storms newest releases and was wondering how the "Fired Up" compared to the "Triple X-Factor". Please see my profile for specs and other equipment to see where a "Fired Up" would fit in. I wasn't really looking for a big Hooking ball (i.e. the new "Trifecta"), because I all ready have two "Vertigo's" (One in OOB and the other polished). Just would like to see if the "Fired Up" would be a good replacement for the "Triple X-Factor".
Thank You and Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated.

They react and hook very similarly. I'm guessing that if they're drilled the same, they would react the same.

I have both of them and they are drilled identically. The XXX is still earlier read then the fired up. The hook shape is similiar but the XXX still hooks sooner. The Fired up is cleaner through the fronts and longer for me.

With the strong asymmetric core and the Monsoon cover, I'd guess the Triple X would be stronegr overall, but by what factor, I can't say.
I'd suspect the Fired Up would be more similar to the original X-Factor, due to the new core and the new coverstock.

Would you say "by the X factor"?

Pat,
Go with Billy Ray's observation. If drilled the same the Fired Up should go longer with a similar response as the XXX.

I still bet they won't handle the same amounts of oil.
