I have been noticing my Nano pearl has been out hooking my Defiant Soul lately. I am surprised i have to move back right when going from Nano pearl to the Soul. I know the Soul is a hybrid but I am surprised by the pearl ball out hooking the hybrid.  Anybody else have either ball?? I have in order of most to least:  Oath  Nano  Defiant Soul   IQ Tour Pearl  Hyroad Pearl   Tropical Heat .  I did have the Soul as my ball down ball from the Oath but I am thinking about changing it to the Nano pearl. Bowled on many different conditions the last month and the Nano Pearl always covers more boards than the Defiant Soul.

Good memory my friend.  I keep wanting to replace the Nano pearl but it still a great ball. I love the Defiant Soul.  I just didn't match up with the Disturbed for some reason. Glad I stuck with Storm/Roto. I will talk to Jack tomorrow.

There are 2 things that I'm thinking may potentially be the case.

1)  The ball may need a resurface/oil extraction depending on how long you've had it.  Knowing Transit Lanes where Jack Jurek has his shop, they put down a longer 43ft pattern on Brunswick Anvilane.  If you bowl there regularly, you may want to start with that.

2)  Depending on how the Soul is drilled, it's possible that you may need an x-hole drilled to increase overall flare potential. 

Either way, Jack should be able to help you out and get the Soul rolling well again.
