Title: Gap in arsenal. What would fit?
Post by: LaneHammer20 on November 19, 2008, 11:03:48 PM
I currently fill that I have a slight gap inbetween my Cell Pearl and Link. I have a Ogre pearl that I have figured just doesn't match up to my game and the drilling isn't suited for my style so I am going to let it go.

I feel this is a big gap and it shows when switching from the Cell which is really strond (drilling in profile) to my Link (profile) whihc is fairly weak which I wanted and it works great on clean backends and light oiled lanes.

My choices are between T-Road pearl, Rapid fire pearl, and street rod pearl. Would any of these fit this gap drilled the same as my Pearl cell, whihc I would drill them 5X4, or maybe 5.5x4.5.

I am worried that both the rapid and T-road are pretty strong balls. They both have caught my eye I just think they may overlap with the cell. The  I think the Street rod might overlap with the Link.

Any suggestions??

the rapid fire pearl is quite a bit stronger than the t road pearl i think the t road pearl would be a better fit my rapid fire pearl hooks almost as much as my cell pearl

Yeah, & it also depends on where you want to be compared to your link.  I think the T-Road fits between the Rapid & Street Rod plus you could play w/the cover if it's too strong for the gap you're looking to fill.

YA I THOUGHT THE RAPID WOULD BE TO CLOSE, FROM WHAT i HAVE HEARD IT IS PRETTY WICKED ON THE BACKEND.

The t-road I don't know much about but after looking at it it had my interest. Street rod seems like a good ball for the price but then again haven't heard much at all about that ball.
