Vertigo Victory
« on: March 27, 2006, 11:46:01 AM »
Hey guys. does anyone know what kind of ball the vertigo victory is? Is it just an overseas version of the verigo or a different ball entirely. Also, does anyone know what a similar ball in the brunwick range would be? Im more familiar with brunswick and want to see where abouts it would fit in my current arsenal (or just look at my profile and say where it could go).

Cheers

On the Victory, check out:

No core info, but IMHO it is just a color version of the Vertigo. Maybe[/], since the core's name is different, an older triple disc core from the Triple Xtreme. SFA solid coverstock from Vertigo.

From Brunswick, I'd say the Strike Zone is the closest thing in performance or setup options, maybe the Ultimate Inferno, too. Definitively an oil ball OOB, would overlap much with th UI and IZ in your arsenal. Polished might be close to the Bruiser, probably a touch more aggressive.

Cheers for the links and the info. Has been a great help. The one I bought looks a lot darker (closer to the original vertigo) than the pics storm has released. Seems a bit wierd but not complaining cause the light blue and grey colour looks discusting:

Gonna get it drilled up next week hopefully and see how it goes, then probably polish either the vertigo or the UI to get a different kind of reaction. I dont think I would mind something that was just above the bruiser, it just hasnt been hiting as hard of late.

Have thrown the ball for 4 games so far and my god its strong. Goes down the lane a lot longer and comes back a lot harder than the UI. Basically this ball is the ball I was hoping the UI was gonna be and has now replaced it in my tournament bag. Have only thrown it on medium-oily lanes so far and hoping to test it out on heavy oil this weekend at a tournement i'm bowling in.

May have to try out some other storm balls to see if they're all this good!
