Got a chance to meet Jeff Carter today
« on: October 22, 2009, 09:00:14 AM »
Met him in Akron, OH at the Ace Mitchell seminar. If there is a more "real" person on the tour, they must hang out with Jeff in there spare time.

From one Van Halen fan to another, thanks for your help today JC.

Cool.  From what I've seen on tv, BR, & his charity bowling ball website he seems like a pretty good guy.  If he's in Lockport for the Storm deal that would be cool.  I don't know what the tournament schedule holds, so he may not be there.

Is it me, or is this year's PBA schedule very confusing.  Some tournys already have happened, but not shown, I don't know.....

As far as Van Halen goes, I like the early Van Halen the best...  The 1st 2-3 albums rocked.

All the tournaments that will be shown in the first couple of months were bowled during the World Series of Bowling in August.  The first live event of the season is the World Championship Finals in December in Wichita.

Thanks CHawk!  I've been thinking I've missed something this year....LoL.  Kind of weird that I haven't seen one tournament on tv yet & they've already started.  I knew they taped some to be aired, but I thought they would have caught up by now.  But any how, appreciate you clarifying that.

I agree, the PBA schedule this year hurts my head a ton

One last thing about Jeff, I've purchased merchandise from his website and he took the time during an event to thank me for it. It was a nice suprise and a classy gesture on his part.
