It’s on Ace Mitchell’s close out list so probably.

The Pitch Purple went up on the site today as a worldwide release , with a Feb 21 available date, so I would not be surprised at all if they stop making the Fever Pitch at this point.

Well the Omega Crux and Pitch Purple are both up on the Storm site now. Fever Pitch is still there but wouldn't surprise me to be discontinued with the Purple coming

Since it is a 1,000 Solid reactive with the same core as the Pitch Black.  The question should be, is it going to replace the Pitch Black.
Current Arsenal: Storm Super Nova, Storm Absolute, 900 Global Zen Master, Storm Summit, Storm Journey, and Storm Punch Out

I have a Fever Pitch and love it. I was always surprised to see so many negative comments on this (in my opinion) amazing and special ball.

My guess is that it was not bad, but simply not what people where expected.

On the other hand, I've seen a lot of praise for the Covert Tank. I have that as well and can say the Fever Pitch and Covert Tank are very similar. But Cover Tank seems to have been much more well received. Maybe people had different expectations based on marketing?

I may pick up another Fever Pitch, since I changed weights and don't have it in the weight I prefer to use now.

The first Fever Pitch I drilled was a 4" pin x 2.5" buffer. It was good, but not great. Too much hook set, then wiggle when trying to move in with it. Condition had to be perfect to use it, and I really need to keep the surface "fresh".

The second layout is a 4.5" pin x 2" pin buffer, and it made a huge difference. This one has better continuation off the spot with more board coverage. Doesn't wiggle as bad when moving in. Still has it's limits, like all urethane does, but closer to what I see from others using the purple Hammer.

Layouts seem to matter more on the core used for the Fever, than does the original Capacitor core in the Black and Blue, as well as the new Purple coming out. Just what I see and experienced.
God creates us with a blank canvas, and the "picture" we paint is up to us. Paint a picture you like and love!

Fever Pitch was supposed to be the rival of the Purple Hammer, but it doesn't dig at 20 feet and want to roll off the lane like a fresh cover Purple Hammer does. I have a feeling there will be a few "All Purple" telecasts this PBA season with staffers from all brands.

Before every throwing a Pitch Black I've used the Supernatural, Natural Pearl, Blue Hammer, and then finally Fever Pitch. I never understood the whole urethane early roll thing from these balls. Then used Pitch Black and got it.

Fever Pitch is an exceptional light oil ball and great on shorter sport conditions. It however is not going to dig in like an actual urethane  ball (ie. Pitch Black). If anyone thought that's what they were getting, they were just going to be disappointed.

For my game, no-thumb, 400 rev rate, 3 degrees axis tilt, my ball wants to roll early enough as it is. I found Fever Pitch (or Covert Tank) a great way to control the ball on short sport shots, without the ball rolling at my feet. Don't see any way could use Pitch Black the same way.

With all the recent, not really urethane, but sort of like it balls that have come out recently, I think using a term like "non-reactive" would be much better than urethane. If it's not a urethane ball, and not rolling like one, then why call it that?

But even with Motiv and their attempt to not call the Covert Tank, or Tank Blitz urethane (because they are not urethane), I still see so many people doing that.
