Hey, just bought a brand new gravity and attitude shift and since our house is always burnt out, because they can't seem to oil the lanes which takes what 20 minutes? Which ball should I weaker so I can finally use a decent hitting power ball instead of my old columbia white dot?

I have an attitude shift, and if your lanes are burnt, this ball will cause you fits. It needs oil to work properly. Instead of drilling either of these two pieces which are stronger pieces made by storm, I would purchase a weaker core / cover combination, possibly even something that has been discontinued and use that. I hate seeing anyone get a great ball for the wrong condition. Hope this helps.

Okay thanks, I do have a single drilled spit fire do you think i could redrill that and use it as a little weaker ball?

The Spit Fire is more of a medium condition ball. I am speed dominant, so I can get away with using it on drier conditions, but if the lanes really are "burnt" and very dry, you're going to be better off with something like a Tropical Storm or Street Rod Pearl possibly, maybe a Hammer Razyr (3 piece core in a reactive pearl resin cover), or maybe even a Lane #1 XXL (polyester cover, strong core).

Yes, I'm not really speed dominant, but i'm kind of a stroker/tweener with 250? rpm. I want to try it first then i might go and get a street rod if it really doesn't go over well.

how many lanes is your house, because a 32 lane center will take 45min-1hr to oil the lanes properly....just saying....and i would recomend buying a street rod for the toastier conditions

We only have 8 lanes out of the 32 lane house, the rest are 5-pin. I'm going to try out my spit fire but just drill it a little weaker. Today they actually oiled the lanes and had a decent game with the gravity shift. (glad i didn't drill it weaker) My driller seems to know me pretty well and told me that he actually backs up my idea.
