Passion layout
« on: February 13, 2008, 10:22:13 AM »
I just picked up a NIB 16# Passion on E-bay. $86 with shipping. Would like this to be the strongest ball in the bag and am wondering what drilling to go with. Storm says the 4x4 with the 1 1/2" buffer is the strongest. Am a lefty stroker.

I don't know if it's the biggest hooking layout but I have one layed out with
the pin under the ring with the MB in the strong position. I can only use this if there's soup in the middle. I mean ALOT of soup.

You are going to love this ball. I have mine drilled pin under ring, mass bias well right of my thumb hole (I'm a righty. I have a pic in my profile too). It picks up early but never rolls out unless the lanes are pretty dry in the heads. It carries extremely well.

I have a passion with the pin above my ring, with cg straight down and the mas bias 3 1/2 inches from my pap on the val, and it roles and then does a hard hard on the bakcend and I love it, the storm passion is definitely a very strong ball, thats for sure.
