Okay...Shape Lock HD vs. Shape Lock
« on: March 28, 2009, 10:08:54 AM »
So right now i am rolling a Mighty Shift, which has the newer Shape Lock HD core in it with the R2S hybrid particle cover from the secret agent. I love this ball and it rolls great for me. I was thinking of picking up a Shift Global, which is the same coverstock with the older Shape Lock for from the original shift line it it. How would each core roll differently from eachother? Would it be worth it to have both? Any insight is appreciated.

well, since nobody wanted to chime in, i asked Gene aka raiderh20boy about the different roll characteristics of each core, and he said that the original shape-lock core will have a much more defined break point, or flip if you will.

That's funny because the Gravity Shift was advertised as being longer and stronger than the Shift. Alwell. Thanks for the info, no wonder my Shift is still my favorite ball

The Gravity was straight pearl and the original shift was a Pearl Particle...

Yeah the particles in the original Shift makes the difference.  It's one of my favorite balls.

Ive never thrown either the shift or attitude but i also have the mighty shift and F-ing love it.  even at 2000 abralon i get plenty of length. but a oh so smooth backend (maybe because of the 2.5" Pin-PAP)  and at least 4" of flare.
