Title: gray scotch brite pads
Post by: JohnN on January 14, 2004, 06:38:42 AM
Where does one find the gray or white Scotch brite pads? I have tried my local Ace Hardware stores and found the 8" x 8" (approx) green and burgandy ones. The only gray ones were the 3" x 5" that come 2 to a package and are suppose to be the same as 00 steel wool.Thanks.

You may check your local Auto Paint supply store. That is where I get mine.

If you can't find the gray pads at a paint store, or auto supply store, or Lowes or Home Depot, then you can order them from WildOctopus.com

Buba,

I think you got the wrong webpage, or Wild Octopus might have moved the nylon pads. Try this one:

Charlest, as usual, you are right. However, I was too.

Your link is smarter and takes you to the right page where as mine takes you to the site and then you have to go to the scotch brite page.
