To be fair, let me make sure I re-emphasize that the Halo and Idol have been good additions to my bag. IMHO, these shine quicker than other high end oilers, ok, but it frankly affects me more as a low rev lefty. I see those changes quicker than most based on the combo of low revs and left hand being by myself, and can tell the difference if I get inside. Now, I don't think right handers, nor "normal" rev bowlers will see the difference as much as I, maybe not in a 3 game set, but I don't comment on those things normally. nothing drives me nuttier than a high rev bowler commenting on my game. WHAT THE HECK DO THEY KNOW about my world on the left flood? Nothing. However, in this case I feel it's possible that those of normal hand will misinterpret. I'm not saying it's dead after 1 game. Do I need to get straighter sooner than my beloved Phaze II or Sure Lock RELATIVELY SPEAKING? Yes, but it's a good ball. Reminder from my earlier post, this week my partner was complimenting how hard it sounded like I was hitting the pins, something I don't hear often. You might have to scuff it sooner than I would like, but I'm not at all sorry I have it. Just quicker maintenance plan than the other high end oilers. Again, this is a relative comment, which seems to freak out a few people.
I truly appreciate the confirmation that others have seen this also. That's what I was looking for, what I appreciate hearing, with thanks for the information shared. That's what we're here for.
