My guess is that either you don't know how to apply revolutions correctly, or the ball is rolling out on you.  Way too many people, especially newbies, use too much ball for the conditions.  Have your proshop or coach add a coat of polish and I'll bet it comes alive.

i agree with nails but also do you clean your ball with reacta clean or any type of cleaner after use? if not you may want to try that also.

Nails, I agree with you. With my XXX sanded, it would waste all of its energy up front and have nothing down the lane (yes I know its my fault). I polished mine up with xtra shine and it works MUCH better. One of these days I'll learn to bowl and it will work much better

With this ball being stacked & scuffed, good chance that it's burning and hooking before you realize it.

...PUT DOWN THE SCOTCHBRITE...

Real quick, surface equals early hook with a toned down backend reaction. Not to mention you are just wearing out where you want to play and having to move faster. Have your pro shop work the surface in between being over dulled or over polished. SIDE NOTE: If it does not have a weight hole, consider putting one in it to increase the reaction.

Then don't use such an extreme difference in surface.  If you're referring to the XXX and not the XXXtreme I'd suggest finishing it with a grey pad and then a light application of rubbing compound.  It won't burn up  like a green pad and should move more than the glossy OOB surface.
