Ok, i keep on hearing about you people talk about how thier NEW storm ball seems to die after a couple dozen games or so.
Well i had this happen with my X Factor when after about 30 games. But for the first three weeks, this ball was a MONSTER, i mean on anything less than 50ft of oil this, ball would miss brooklyn after throwing the ball over 4th arrow out to board 5 at 20+ mph. And this was outa box condition too, and it wasnt any wild stacked drilling either, the ball had 3.84 oz of top weight, and the ball was drilled with the pin about 3/4inch above fingers and cg slightly kicked out, with a small hole off my pap. But anyways now the ball is my fav and first ball to goto. And gives me the best read on any condition i face and will tell me what ball i might hafta switch too.
Now i wouldnt say my X-Factor has died, but i would say that it has tamed down. It is way more control-able, and i now hit it with 800grit, when i clean it and give it a touch up. So i now when you say your ball has died, or you think it has died, is that because it wont come back when you play 25-5 and throw it 25mph. Or did you ever think the ball maybe burning up before it makes the turn. I mean i have a TraumaResponse and unless i am bowling on a flood, the ball burns up at 30ft, does it mean this ball is dead??? I mean i have a old ThunderStorm and El Nino that still hook like they are brand NEW! and those two balls have over 150+ games a piece on them.
