play the outside part of the lane. First arrow would be nice on typical league condition. It's like desert dry, so you should be able to hook it even if it's a plastic ball and your's not a plastic ball so it should be no problem. Cup your hand. Use a pendulum swing. Lower the ball to as low as you need to for it to make its move. bend your need. Don't loft. And that's all that you need to do. no sending require. One more thing. Make sure you're not over turning the ball. Because I see that problem all the time. People keep complaining their ball can't hook but really their over turning the ball it's like a car trying to go forward but have the backward thing on. Release with your hand at a 45* angle. This will give you a controllable and higher track. Hopes this help.

thanks for the help guys/gals. im gonna wipe it down with alcohol tonight and then next week after my match ill have my coach help me (im in a school bowling league) but ill hvae to just try to keep it more straight for the match. ill see what he says if i should get it "scuffed" for the patterns at our matches.

Ok look, don't clean your equipment with anything other then citris based ball cleaners/polishes and use a spinner if you can borrow the centres, also use a microfibre towel for removing oil from the balls track and the reason your ball dosen't hook is because its drilled for lenght with little hook, this drilling is better for ball reaction;
