3.5 x 3, RAD at 65 degrees -- Should be a strong ball motion, starts a little earlier, which should be good, given, I am assuming, your lower rev rate.

Bring it to the shop that you are going to have drill it. Have the drill watch you throw the ball a few times, he will get your pap. HE will give you the best layout for what you need. There is nothing more annoying(not directed at you, but in general) than someone getting there first ball, coming in not knowing what there specs are, and giving a layout to the driller. scenario:

Bowler: hey, I have this ball I got on the internet, I want you to drill it, 4x3 with the rad in the strong position.

Driller: ok, what is your pap?

Bowler: my what?

driller: um, ok, how hard do you throw it, and how many revs would you estimate you have?

bowler: i throw it really hard with a ton of revs

driller: alright, Ill get your axis and get a look at your game.

bowler throws a few shots.

driller: OK, you throw it about 18mph with about 250 rpm. If it were layed out like this it would skid 55 feet.....(or roll out ect...)

bowler: but this is what some people recomended after knowing nothing about my game! thats what i want

Driller: fine

Bowler: *disapointed*

That is why I recomend you get your driller to lay it out for a reaction your looking for after seeing your game and what layouts would and would not work.
this is not to be insulting, just to save a wasted investment...

^^ agreed!  Even better is when they tell you that they can throw the ball between 13 mph and 20 mph and you ask that their normal speed is and they don't know.  I'm still conviced that none of the shops in my local area have any clue what an axis point is or how to find it or more importantly how to lay a ball out based upon it.  I still remember (prior to me drilling my own equipment), having a ball drilled and their first question being, do you have the drill sheet that comes with this ball?  Immediately followed by... hmmm well, layout #1 should give you some length and controlled backend.  And then they would do their best to match the picture to the ball.

The moral here is that the best layout really depends on your own style and how you roll the ball and what you would like the ball to do on the lanes.  I agree, talk to you local proshop.  If they don't ask you your specifications, want to see you throw a few shots, or at a minimum look at some of your other equipment prior to drilling up your ball, look elsewhere.

yes, look else where if they dont even ask to see some old equipment to get your track(to get your axis) that should at least be a minimum...
