Hot Rod Hybrid potentiality?
« on: January 28, 2005, 10:52:30 AM »
I have some very positive thoughts about this ball after reading the BTM review. The basis for the positive light is that the review seems to believe this is truly a ball for medium-light to light oil patterns, whereas the Hot Rod Pro Stock balls are not (at least, not without very high ball speed or radical drillings or lack of delivery revs, which many users may have).

- Which of Storm's resin coverstocks are/is used in this ball?

Based on the review the ball's reaction are not even close to Monsoon nor AccuTread type of reactions, unless BTM made some major drilling errors or used some new testers.

I'd almost say the cover was a blend of Curelyon solid and pearl resins, the ball had such controlled backend and torque numbers. This is an EXTREMLY positive turn of events, to my mind.
