X-FACTOR PRO (OVERSEAS RELEASE)
« on: August 29, 2004, 08:15:08 AM »
Does anyone have any info on this overseas release?  I read one review at www.bowlingballreviews.com and the person said the ball has the Triple X coverstock, but unsure if this true or not.  Was also wondering how this ball compared to the new ReCharge.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I beleive all this ball is, is the original x-factor cover (the accu-tread mystic pearl) with the triple x core (rad3 i think)  i have seen it being thrown a couple times, and it looks pretty good.

That's what I've heard too (XF coverstock / XXX core).  I have one NIB at my house but haven't had the need to drill it yet.  Maybe if my XXX doesn't work out I will though.

Maelstrom...  Thanks for clearing that up!

Edit:  I just compared the oil length -vs- oil amount charts for this and the original X-Factor and don't really understand how the XF-Pro can handle short-med and short-heavy conditions when the regular XF isn't rated for any shorter patterns.  The coverstock from the XXX is stronger in oil than the XF from what I can see between the two balls.  Oh well, I guess that I'll be able to judge for myself when I drill it and another XF sometime.
