Ok i am on my 4th ball in 3 years. I have had a Hammer wheel, trauma response, Icon2, and now a X-factor deuce. The wheel and the response were a nightmare.
While both of the balls were great over the first 2-3 months of having them. I noticed that my reaction was less and less over time. Until finally I had Not back end from the what so ever. The balls would just roll and roll and never catch.
My Icon2 has beed good to me. I have seen a reduction in reaction, but it still works well enough for me to use on medium oil condition lanes. The Icon2 from my experience though is a down and in type of ball, and that is not the type of shot I am used to shooting.
Anyway I have rolled the deuce for 6 games now, and am over all impressed with its performance, but I would love it if anyone has any helpful hints on how to get a season worth of bowling out of it without a huge loss in reaction. I understand that bowling balls lose reaction over time, i just want to know how to make it last as long as possible..
I roll 3 nights a week and the lanes are always a heavy oil pattern. just in case anyone wanted to know.
