Virtual Gravity Life

When I first bought my VG, it was AWESOME!

However, after about 30 games, I noticed that the ball was polishing itself, and after 60 games, it looked like a billiard ball, very shiny and not a lot of snap.  I took it to a pro shop, had it baked and resurfaced, but nothing has brought it back even close to the original shape.

I even went so far to purchase a second ball, love it new, but after around 60 games, I want to throw it away.  I am not the only one in our wood lane house to have this reaction.

Anyone else have this reaction from the VG??

Any ideas how to resurrect this, or should I look for another ball, if so, which one?

That ball is going to track up really fast on wood lanes, which will cause the ball to hook early and lose energy for the back end.  When you took it to the pro shop, did they do a complete resurface or did they just try to touch the surface up.  The VG seems like a very aggressive ball to be using on wood lanes.  

The VG is one of those balls that is a little more skid/snappy out of the box, and mellows out as it gets broken in.  I have 2 and both of them displayed that characteristic new, but I noticed it starting up earlier once the coverstock had been broken in.  I use these mostly on the Scorpion on Shark Patterns on the PBA experience league because they're too much ball for me on the league shot in that center.

I have the same problem with the VG. I have a VE and it snaps on the backend.  The VG looks like it wants to grab, but it slides by and hits light.

I had it hit with 360 Abralon for a minute (Haus), then 500 lightly and then 2000 Abralon finish.  Very little improvement.

I''''ve ordered some Clean n''''Dull should be here this week.

I think it needs a warm water bath and resurfacing and then keep it clean regularly with Clean n''''Dull.
