How to drill a Power Charge/Hot Rod?
« on: May 31, 2003, 04:14:56 AM »
Hey guys, I want to pick up a new Power Charge or Hot Rod and I want to drill it to complement my X-Factor which is drilled 4 x 4.  I have medium revs and medium - high speed.  I want the ball to combat medium/dry situations when my X-Factor is overreacting.  Something a little longer but has enough hook to make it back to the pocket.  I'm not quite sure which of the two I want yet, but I'm leaning towards the Power Charge.  Any suggestions would be great.  Thanks!

Since you are wanting something for a little drier lanes, I would lean towards the Power Charge Pearl.  It is cleaner through the front part of the lane.  I get more length from this ball than the Hot Rod.  Hot Rod has been better for me on fresh.  Yes it is a notch down from the X Factor, but I still think this ball is better on some head oil.
