Had a fellow lefty bowling on our pair last night.
I was very impressed with his Paradigm Passion on wood with some medium heavy oil.
What a move. He also had a One drilled pin next to ring and strong mass bias that was too early and too much midlane and too sharp.
But the drilling variation he had on this ball.
Flip D..... with a twist Was awesome! He is a typical firm lefty straight up 8 or 9 but boy he was getting a wonderful late sharp/smooth move from this ball and great pin action.
Difference in this drilling from the typical pin up and (1 1/2 inches from VAL) was that he had this 2 1/2 inch pin out ball with the cg right next to the ring fingers(lots of finger weight) and then drilled a weighthole...3 inches UP and to the side to take out excess finger and side(weighthole...almost near pin) and had a slightly deeper fingers.
I threw it and had the exact same reaction....late...smooth(from the coverstock) and sharp. I could feel it as I released it this ball had tremendous imbalance towards the pocket and gave me a crushing hit to the pocket also!
