Big Hit Pearl vs Blue Hot Flame

How do these 2 balls compare?

Is the Big Hit Pearl a replacement for the old Blue Hot Flame... or is the Hit Pearl a replacement for the Blue Hot Flame?

And I'm wondering how the Big Hit compares to the Sonic X Pearl also, as far which gets better length and which has more backend and which one ges through drier heads better?

Ric - my experience is that the Big Hit (BH) was to replace the Blue Hot Flame (BHF).  I didn't like the BH in comparison to the BHF.  For the dry to toast especially if there was a little carry down the BHF was a great ball and I still have mine.  

The Sonic X Pearl was under rated in my opinion and is a very strong ball.  I think the BHF gets through the heads better and the Sonic X has bigger backend.

A ball you should also consider is the Power Groove reactive.  Very similar to the BHF but just a slightly stronger cover that holds up really well PK18.

I just punched one up for the dry lane conditions and it performs well.

I know, I'm a Stormer, but I also have the Power Groove. I really like it when the lanes are like the sand dunes of AZ. It will work for you, I'd think. Never had the Sonic X, but also heard good things from those who have it. Still all in all, it would be between the Big Hit and the Power Groove, in my opinion. ( not that it's worth much)
