Hi,
I will try that first. I think I have it at 2500 now. Would moving the fingers help if that doesnt work?

Is your Hy-Road at 2500 grit dull?
If it's 2500 grit then with added polish, forget about more polish, UNLESS you have a very light hand polish. By the time most people have a good polish on a ball, the working grit level is around 5300 - 5500 grit.
The only polish that would help is a slip agent polish, which reduces hook and backend and adds some length. Basically it clogs the pores slightly, reducing oil absorption andyou can use it on less oil.
Th other option is to drill it with a longer pin-PAP distance and modify the VAL and Drill angles.
Honestly, it's a shame to spoil such a great ball by doing any of the above. I'd buy a weaker ball, like an RG Scream or a Tropical Heat Pearl (they're still around) . The Lights out uses the same coverstock but a slightly weaker core; it won't buy you much.
