The Asylum is going to be earlier and a cpl boards stronger than the Hyroad. Much better at reading the lane for me. I wouldnt call it flip, I would call it pissed off move at the pocket.lol The Hyroad pearl from what Ive seen needs a lot of friction and is flippy, the deranged isnt flippy but still needs more friction. Asylum will handle oil better than all of them including Hyroad. Depends what you want, I can say that the asylum never quits...

You're asking for more "flip" but want a ball to handle heavier oil....that generally doesn't work.  To have "flip" you need 2 things, oil and friction.  If you are missing the friction part no ball will have enough to grab and change direction "flip" quickly.

Okay that being said....

You're wanting a ball to handle more oil than your Hyroad, which isn't hard to do.  I guess because there are so many balls that are stronger the more appropriate question would be how much more oil than what your Hyroad handles?  I ask because the Deranged and Hyroad Pearl are not going to handle "oil" better....they are pearls and designed to create downlane motion, not read early.  An Asylum would be a "better" choice than what you asked, but if you need a ball that is a good bit stronger than a Hyroad why not a Marvel-S?  The Disturbed will also handle oil better than an Asylum.

Hyroad pearl will out flip most balls on the market. The asylum will be slightly earlier and slightly stronger than the hyroad. It is an awesome ball!!!!

Get one. Use layout, surface, and balance hole placement to separate it from your hyroad!!!!
