Like the color combo. Makes sense they would add this I guess. It looks to be grouped with all international releases though (Sync Tour, Domination War, Marvel STG/1, Megabyte) but you never know.

Doesn't really seem logical to me.
As a solid/pearl hybrid, it's already the best of both worlds. They introduced the HR Pearl recently. It had a lot of initial "love", but that seems to have receded now. Few people talk about it. That makes me wonder what you could get out of an HR Solid that you can't get out of the HR now, by manipulating the surface and the drilling. After all, there have been and are about 89 different Storm balls with the R2S solid coverstock.

I agree with all this. Between the Zero Gravity and the IQ Tour, I just don't see this as a logical release. Keep in mind the Wipe Out is also on deck which also has the R2S solid shell.

The HR Pearl lost steam mostly because the the Fusion and UpRoar are incredible balls that have similar motions to the HR Pearl.

Yeah Idk about all of you! But my VR solid is my 3rd game bracket killer and survivor ball...I made a ton of money with it! I wouldn't mind a t-road solid/hyroad solid release...

Thinking it's an overseas release, but who knows, it may be the early bowl expo release.

It would have a more ideal look from a solid than what the Reign of Power provides. Plus, the Hy-Road being a hybrid often brings more length than a silid. Isn't the Reign On completely different from the Reign of Power? Isn't the Crossroad different from the Victory Road solid? Even the Crossroad and Hy-Road are different. Even the Freak'n Frantic and the Fringe and the 2Fast are different. Didn't everybody think the Fusion had a chance at replacing the Hy-Road? I think everyone agrees that those two balls are different from each other...

looks like Optimus will replace Marvel Pearl.  Crossing fingers for some blowout pricing on the MP.  Been thinking about getting one for a while even though i dont need one.

Wipeout....?  I'm not impressed.

This review...
http://www.ballreviews.com/storm/wipe-out-t301724.0.html

Many of these light hits would not be strikes in my house  For our righties it would be 7s, for the lefties it would be 10s.

Stronger pin position or more polish and standing farther right would strengthen this solid ball to my expected level!

The Punch out on the other hand, Looks great!

Lefty,

The Wipe Out will complement VKowalski's Asylum. The review that did not impress you was indeed drilled with a medium strength layout. If VK matches his Asylum drilling, he can ball down and not have to move. The Wipe Out is clean for a soid with a nice controlled pop off the pattern. And it smells really good too ;D

I love my lights out but sometimes it's a bit cleaner than I want dropping down from asylum. I love that core and the solid should pick up a bit earlier and be a great step down. A but cleaner than asylum but not as clean as light out would be my expectation.

Cleaner than the asylum?  I personally find my Hybrids to be cleaner than my Solids through the heads etc...

For TK, I noted the weak drilling.

I am a big fan of the cores on the Freakin Frantic and Manic in my sloppy backend house.  Slitghtly stronger I know.  I own a Tropical Heat solid pin down and stronger (closer pin to pap) and it is a lot more than that weakly drilled Wipe out..

The Punch  nice but I already have much of that great stuff in that area!
