The Asylum's core will rev faster than the Turbine core. The Wipe Out is stronger than the dull Tropical heat as it is the same core with a stronger cover. Hope this clears some confusion for you, Lefty.

I keep reading your horror stories of your house shot and to be honest, I would love to see a video. I am far from disputing what you are saying, but would like to see what you are saying. I currently have 2 tropical heat purple/blacks. One pin up 5x3 and one pin down 4.5x4. I absolutely love how well these balls roll. The Wipe Out is a tad stronger overall at 5x3. I never had a Manic, but I do believe it will be stronger than that as well.

The way he describes it, he bowls in an absolute brickyard and "pin down balls dont work there", so id like to see a video as well. Ive found that most "tough carry" houses carry the light hits better and when you really stuff the pocket you dont carry.

All but one of mine are pin up.  bowl in a 20 lane all wood house.  lanes 1&2 for some reason sometimes need my one pin out double thumb drill to have that slight different angle into the pocket to carry.

Ummm brickyard? 

This house is wet this year especially in the back,  I like the house and I am enjoying the challenge.

Last year it was a short shot and I used the weakest balls...pin down.

This year it is wet with lots of oil downlane especially getting soupier later this season and much more obvious on the left .  Our lefty bowlers are very good(I don't count myself in that list yet!).

They are big handed state wide known lefties.  Our top lefties with their massive hand and speed are tearing the place up.  Me I am having my so so good nights.

Early in the year I was standing 29 and hitting 14 to 15 at the arrows with my Mission X.  Since the wet problem(lack of stripper) came up I am often standing 22 and firing 9 to 4 it is interesting.  The righties who have more lane bed friction as they carve the shot up are  able to strike even if they have 4 revs and 11 mph ball speed.  They could go 36 frames on our side and never strike, but so what!  I'd love to see it!

Again, I am enjoying the task of playing out near as wide as 5 as our left side continues to be slick down lane.  See my Meanstreak initial impression post on the Brunswick Forum.

I believe I could make a pin up Tropical Heat, Manic, or Wipe out work there just fine!  I would not carry with those glancing blows shown in the video.  I have at other places in the past.

PS . I get to bowl with some of the best lefties I have seen, learn to creep up on the lists, and will be better at the end of the summer.   As I travel around the state and play on traditional league backends with my improving throwing I give thanks for my center.  I see things quickly, adjust fast and often am able to pick between symmetric and assymetric very quickly as to what will help me that day!  All is good!
PPS I have my own coach he is quite good!  Thanks for the video analysis offer.
