Anyone throwing both of these? And can give me a comparison. I have a marvel pearl pin way up with a small cg kick. Just ok for me. Kinda violent off the spot and checks, stops.. leaving lotta flat tens. I’m sure alot is due to the high pin, making it to strong off the spot, dry. Yet to find a condition that I can get locked in with it. Bowled a few tournaments watching guys throwing the idol pearl and it looks awesome. Been thinking about drilling an idol pearl pin down, since I’m not crazy about the marvel pearl pin up. Been drilling more storm stuff pin down lately and love how it smooths them out. Just wondering how close the two balls are, if there is a need for both in an arsenal. The numbers are close, but I would imagine the idol pearl being a touch stronger with nano in the cover. Any thoughts?

I had 2 marvel pearls, and just drilled an Idol Pearl.  I had good success with the Marvel's out of the box, but  both were a lot more condition specific than I wanted.  They tended to burn way too fast off the end of patterns unless I could find some hold area.

Idol Pearl with similar layout to my last MP has a much different look.  It is still  rolly, but moves much stronger off the end of the pattern.  I honestly havent thrown it a lot yet, and not tried it on any flatter patterns, but I think it will be a nice compliment to my Hyroad Nano, and more useable than the Marvel on a wider variety of patterns.

Honestly, they are pretty similar.  The Idol seems to be a bit more angular but both fill the same spot in the bag.
