Hybrid surface
« on: January 30, 2009, 09:58:44 AM »
Hello all!  I am deciding on purchasing a Storm Hyroad.  Is the cover hard to maintain?  Also is the Hyroad a good ball to go in between my Lane #1 Buzzbomb (sanded) and my Storm Street Rod pearl.  Thanks!

First question, I have had no issue maintaining Hyroad. Second question, I bowl with in order, Virtual Gravity, then to Hyroad, they to Street Rod.  I really like the Hyroad, maybe the most versatile ball I throw.

The HyRoad coverstock is very amenable to surface changes.  I've gotten good results with it in OOB surface on a house shot and also scuffed it with Abralon 2000 on heavier oil with successful results.  This will be a good fit in between your Buzzbomb and Street Rod Pearl.

Have my Hy Road at 4000 and it gets a ton of use in many different houses.
