I threw my PSOs Intense Fire.
I didn't have high hopes for it because I hated my Intense. For me, that ball transitioned so quickly, it pretty much hook/stopped. Surface didn't matter, lane conditions didn't matter, it's just what it did. Occasionally that reaction played, and when it did, I had a great look (the ball actually paid for itself the day I bought it at a tournament). But 95% of the time, it was a totally useless spot in the bag.
The Intense Fire feels like my NRP to me. It's a bit longer, but has the same chug. I didn't see it as continuous, i saw it as the reaction you'd stereotypically expect from polishing a strong solid asymmetrical. It chugs and then it drives.
Personally, I love chuggy asyms, so that's a compliment from me. I don't feel the need to get it since I already have the NRP in the chuggy asym role, but it would be my choice to replace the NRP if I was in the market.
