Invasion not for THS.
« on: February 11, 2010, 04:51:47 AM »
I have 3 games on it and gave it back to my pro shop it burns up if not enough oil and when playing deeper to find oil gets to much length and will not carry the corner pins. I suggest waiting for the pearl to come out unless you have money to burn.

No offense, but I don't understand why people want to buy the dullest most high end ball manufacturers make, then try to use them on a regular old THS.  Unless you're very speed dominant, it's a waste of a ball.

Sounds like a troll post,3 games, and you give a $250 ball away, you must be rich.

1 all new balls will hook alot when they are brand new
2 if your a "cranker" and layed out a strong drill layout, well duh its going to burn up
3 Why did you not polish it or plug the ball and try a weaker layout??

Otherwise good troll post bowler 851

I took min to 1000/2000/4000 step resurfacing and drilled it pin between the bridge and the cg and mb swung right and it is smooth with a nice backend move on my THS.

I said 250 as i know some pro shops charge that much for the ball,

Ball, lifts, slugs, drill, tax. add all that up and for some it could cost all most 250.

Some shops charge more for it, depending on their demographics. Frankly, you don't generally want high end dull balls for a THS. On top of that, balls that expel energy early (say a high end, asymmetric dull ball) don't typically look good from deep angles. They're best served in situations where you're going up the lane on a flood or if you are a rotationally challenged individual.

Just my 2 cents...
