Invasion Review (tiny carry problems)
« on: February 15, 2010, 10:38:02 AM »
-The ball is really strong and has a really nice backend. It goes through the pins really hard and carries like a champ(to a point). The to a point is because since the ball goesthroung the pins so hard i have left more solid 9's in the 15 games with this ball than i have with any other ball i have ever thrown. Still give this ball 5 stars. Great ball would reccomend it to anyone and everyone looking for a really strong and predictable motion bowling ball.

Here is the drilling

yeah, do you mean 9's or 8's? A 9 would usually not be because of the ball driving really hard

No im not throwing it at box surfaace. I put 4000 on it 6 sides which made it get down the lane a lil easier. I ment solid 8's. Sorry about that. It didnt make sence.

MC, you're correct.

OOB is 4K Abby.

Wouldn't one of us house hacks or even pro shops who apply 4000 to a ball that might be different from the manufactuer finishing a ball with 4000?

Nic,

Depends....

If you apply a lot of pressure with a 4000 Abralon pad you will have a different surface than OOB.  Usually the 4000 OOB is a very quick touch of the 4000 pad to smooth the top of the peaks a bit...but not too much....

So a 4000 OOB would be stronger than a 4000 applied with a decent amount of pressure...as the peak and valleys would be greater than the 4000 with a lot of hand pressure..

Hope that makes sense..

i put 2000 6 sides for 15 seconds then 4000 6 sides for 60 seconds on each sides. The box surface from storm is 500 4 sides for 15 seconds then 4000 4 sides for 60 seconds. This makes there surface alot different.
