Tested the IQ Tour Pearl yesterday...
« on: December 02, 2012, 09:16:01 PM »

Had a chance to test this at a demo day yesterday before the official release.  I like the color!  The bright yellow swirl looks great.

But the performance of this ball is different... it's a low RG  -- AND -- a low Diff ball.  A different combo. Core looks like a version of a past Storm release... maybe a modified Eraser?  And coverstock is also a revised version of a past classic.

Found that this ball had tremendous length. Used it on a range of shots, from a heavy and flat 34' pattern to a house 42' to the USBC Queens shot. Was really able to stay more right and get a strong backend reaction, which was very powerful & continuous.

I hear the price will be pretty premium, which is a shame because of its use of recycled components from past releases. Unfortunate, because this may be a great ball, but a pretty conditional one.
